Jordan Reynolds earned a split decision against Kaz Mahmood (Capitol ABC)
LUTONIAN Jordan Reynolds earned a split decision against Kaz Mahmood (Capitol ABC) to progress to the semi-finals of the CYPs.
The Luton fighter, boxing for Stevenage ABC, won his 66kg fight in Nottingham on Saturday in the CYP Championships National Quarter-Finals, Northern Ireland versus Midlands & Home Counties event.
Graham Earl, who also helps to train him at his House of Champions gym in Luton, said: “Jordan Reynolds is now through to the semi-finals of the CYPs.
“He fought a lad in the South versus Midlands section from Coventry.
“He totally outboxed him and wasn’t up to his standards. I think he is only on about 10 or 11 fights.
“Now he goes on to the semi-finals and all going well, the final and winning.”
